Traksure - Young Male Drivers Insurance

Launched on a pilot basis in September 2001, this innovative facility for young male drivers, uses GPS (Global Positioning Systems) and GSM technology to monitor and control speed.

Using digital mapping containing countryside speed limit zones, we can offer hugely reduced insurance premiums to young drivers who drive carefully and within the speed limits. We are concerned with driving patterns over a period of time, so single incidents of speeding or minor infringemens can be tolerated.

Traksure was devised by O' Reilly Cullen (Insuarnces) ltd and is underwritten by AXA (Ireland's largest motor insurers). The technology providers are CELtrak in Tuam, Galway.
